As it is known, many great inventions for ordinary people seem to be unprecedented stupidity, but if they obviously make life easier, they become very popular. Everyone knows firsthand that housework is the most exhausting and not rewarding, especially if there are children or sluts in the family. But there was a woman who invented an incredible house and forgot not only about cleaning, but also about washing for many years!

How it all began

Francis Gabe.

How we would like to live clean, without spending a lot of time and energy on constant cleaning and washing. It's fantastic, you say! But the American Francis Gabe has proven that even such an incredible dream is possible.
Since childhood, she was an extraordinary and inquisitive child, fond of technology and natural sciences.
Back in 1931, she graduated from the Polytechnic College, which allowed her to be well versed in physics and mechanics.
From the age of 17, she had to feed her family, because her loser husband was always looking for work. But this Francis did not upset at all, but on the contrary, inspired to open his own business of restoring destroyed buildings.

How one bad case came up with an idea

Layout self-cleaning home.

Just press the button and the house is clean.

The work took a lot of time and effort, it was sorely lacking for cleaning the house, and the children and the husband, with whom she eventually broke up, did not want to do it at all. Another anger about cleaning the kitchen led Francis to the idea that it was possible to create a dwelling that would clean itself.
No matter how implausible it may sound, she succeeded. The world saw not only an incredible house that was self-cleaning, but also a wardrobe that washes dirty things without removing them from the hangers. It even has shelves for dishes, on which the dishes are cleaned on its own, and a fireplace, which disposes of the ashes itself.

Francis Gabe presents his invention in miniature.

The inventor worked on this idea for more than twenty years, in the end a fantastic wonder-house was created.

The house holds a whole basket of patents.

For all the time of development, she has patented 68 fantastic inventions, which allow not only her house to be washed, but what is important - to dry out.

A person takes the most part only in activating the cleaning system, that is, you just need to put on a raincoat, take an umbrella and press a button.

What had to be done to make the house "work hard"

The appearance of the house.

But to make it happen, the hostess had to rebuild her own house.
The walls are made of concrete blocks, were folded so that the holes in the slabs formed a large number of small windows.

Original lighting with unusual windows.

The rays of the sun, passing through the amber glass, acquiring a golden color, created the illusion of a beehive. What delighted the creator, because she believed that the light should permeate the entire house. The windows are hermetically sealed with organic glass, inside which are located lovely trifles.
The floors were made with a slope to the walls, along the edges of the rooms are special gutters for water drainage.
Walls, floors, and even the ceiling are covered with waterproof resin.
The front door is made of strips of wood bark, filled with a special resin that does not allow it to absorb moisture.

The interior of a fantastic home.

All the furniture had to be replaced by specially designed from waterproof materials. She did not even have to give up her paintings and pencil sketches, because they were sealed with waterproof plastic.
It was necessary to donate only carpeting, but this is the least inconvenience that can be experienced.

Rotating sprinklers mounted in the ceiling.

To do a general cleaning and not only, you just need to press a button, launching rotating sprinklers mounted in the ceiling of each room. At the same time, detergents go directly into the pipes and are distributed throughout the room.
To wash off the dirt along with the soap solution, you need to press another button and clean water will wash everything. The water flows into the fireplace, at the same time washing the ash into the sewer. Then hot air drying starts.

Francis modernized and ordinary furniture

Drawing modernized devices.

So, for washing clothes a special wardrobe was designed, which serves as a huge washing machine with a dryer. It has three compartments, one of them is washed, the other is dried, and the third is already clean clothes, where it is stored.
And even the shelves in the kitchen have a special design, the dishes are washed and dried along with the room.
The garbage chute, which is connected to the garbage bin on the street, also frees itself and cleans itself.
